The theme for the March box is “Creepy Cute.”

The Goods

  1. Deluxe Fan Brush – Crown Brush. Regular price: $18.99

This Fan Brush features a large, fanned brush head perfect for the soft application of powder products. This brush is also great for lightly dusting shimmer products onto skin. I like this fan brush because it can be used not only for highlighters, but it is tough enough to be used to buff out powder and bronzers.

  1. Photo Finish Foundation Primer – Smashbox. Regular price: $36.00

Create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. Worn alone or under foundation, Smashbox’s best-selling, oil-free primer helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for flawless skin with a velvety-smooth finish. I hate the way this feels on my skin, it’s very viscous. It creates a strange dry but slippery surface but once it is covered in makeup it feels OK.

  1. Lip Liner in “I am Precious” – RealHer. Regular price: $12.50

This lip liner is infused with Jojoba Seed Oil and Shea Butter and glides on smoothly. It has long-lasting wear that does not feather or bleed. I’m not a fan of lip liner, I’m a chap stick and lip-gloss kind of girl so I will probably pass this on to a friend.

  1. Matte Liquid Lipstick in “I Deserve the Best.” – RealHer. Regular price: $15.00

Lightweight formula glides onto lips leaving super intense color with a bold, ultra matte finish. Long wearing and completely kiss proof. Bomb formulation helps to combat dryness and nourish your lips during wear. Although this is labeled a lipstick, since it is nourishing and combats dryness, I don’t mind it. It feels nice with some extra lip-gloss on top and I absolutely L-O-V-E this color!!

  1. Urban Rustic Trio Pressed Eyeshadow Palette – Naked Cosmetics. Regular price: $39.99

These colors offer a dramatic look when applied damp or with an eye base. The colors have hints of green, bronze, purple, and brown. These highly pigmented pressed eye shadows have a soft silky feel, and a little goes a LONG way. When used with a damp brush these colors go on dark and dramatic, I like the colors but I would prefer colors that were more practical for every day wear.

Value

The products in this month’s box are worth $122.48. That’s well over 5x what I pay for BoxyCharm, so I’d say this is a great value! If you are someone who subscribes to more than one of the cheaper $10/mo boxes, you would definitely get more bang for your buck to cancel 2 of those and use that money for this box. Full size products go a LONG way. It’s just so nice to get all these high end beauty products that I normally couldn’t (or wouldn’t)  afford in full sizes for longer lasting products. This was my first box and I love every single thing, the only thing I’m upset about is that I didn’t subscribe sooner!

Use this link and sign up for BoxyCharm today! They have a wait list but I got accepted after just two weeks.
