The Goods

  1. Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask and Exfoliant – Pur~lisse. Regular price: $10.40

A 10 minute facial treatment designed with Blue Lotus Seeds, White Clay, Bamboo, Ginger, White Tea and Mushroom Extract. This miracle multi-tasker instantly brightens, detoxifies, tightens and soothes skin while providing gentle exfoliation. Our power blend improves skin texture and leaves it visibly youthful & glowing. Pur~lisse is my favorite brand for skin care, so I was super excited to try this. As always, it did not disappoint! I put it on, let it dry, and rinsed it off. My skin was instantly more soft and smooth .

  1. Base Primer – Temptu. Regular price: $6.25

Developed to combat shine without adding weight, this innovative formula can be applied as a spot treatment to prep skin for makeup application. Base Primer also works to diffuse the appearance of pores and fine lines, resulting in a “perfect canvas” on which to apply foundation. This primer seems to work fine, my makeup stays on all day and my skin looks smooth.

  1. Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer – IT Cosmetics. Regular price: $4.28

Bye Bye Under Eye™ Illumination minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brightens the eyes, and works as a spot concealer or all-over foundation to visually camouflage facial imperfections with no creases or cracks. Infused with antiaging hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants, this multi action formula is clinically shown to make skin look younger. Plus, it’s enhanced with drops of light technology™ to cast a radiant, lit-from-within glow. This is my new favorite concealer! It literally paints over dark circles and blemishes, completely erasing their existence, it’s freakin’ amazing. When my sample runs out, I’m definitely buying more!!

  1. Blend Beauty Brush – SLMissGlam. Regular price: $6.75

The ombré bristles of this blending brush are made of a super soft synthetic material, and the shape is ideal for applying color either just in the crease, or all over your lid. I prefer smaller, more precise brushes for my eyeshadow and larger for my face, so this brush is an awkward middle size I can’t really find a use for, lol.

  1. Paradise Blush – Manna Kadar Cosmetics. Regular price: $19.00

This vivid cherry blossom pink powder blush creates a beautiful glow to the face. It is pearlized and looks beautiful on my skin. It can also be used as an eyeshadow, which I’ve done the past few days. I love the pearly coral color on my eyelids and the pink illuminated color on my cheeks!

Value

The products in the month’s box are worth $46.68! That’s almost 5x the $10.00/month cost of ipsy, so I’d say that’s a good value. Besides the brush, I loved and will use everything from this month’s box. I’m also really excited about this new found miracle under eye concealer, I’m officially converting! I always love to get Pur~lisse in subscriptions as well, because all of their products are amazing for skin care!
