The Goods

  1. Wash Off Facial Cleanser and Free Deep Cleansing Cloth – Human+Kind. Regular price: $20.00

img_9309

This cleanser melts away make up and impurities and gently exfoliates without stripping skin of its natural oils. Comes with a FREE super soft Deep cleansing cloth for the ultimate skin pampering experience. I love how the cloth adds a level of exfoliation not offered by the cleanser alone. Together these make for a super clean face and super soft skin!

      2. Eyeshadow Primer Potion – Urban Decay. Regular price: $20.00

Apply before your eyeshadow for more vibrant CREASE-FREE color that lasts for 24 hours. This is it —THE most legendary primer in the beauty industry. Eyeshadow Primer Potion is coveted by makeup artists and makeup junkies alike because it guarantees more vibrant eyeshadow that lasts for 24 hours and never creases! This glides on smooth and indeed my eyeshadow color was vibrant all day long and no creases. I love primer, this worked on my entire face for all my makeup, too. Haha.

      3. Brow Shaping Brush – TweezerMan. Regular price: $12.00

img_9315

The Tweezerman Brow Shaping Brush is perfect for blending in brow powders or liner while cleaning and brushing the brows. The convenient, retractable brush makes it easily portable, and the extra-long handle doubles as a sleek retractable case to keep bristles clean and protected. I have a lot of brow brushes already because they come on the back end of some of my brow pencils. I’ve never used them.. I must admit.

      4. Chateau De Vine Mineral Lipstick in Debutante – PUR Cosmetics. Regular price: $18.00

img_9329img_9330

Made with vine-fresh resveratrol from Bordeaux’s famed Château des Tourtes winery, this exclusive Farm to Jar formula hydrates dry lips and reverses visible signs of early aging, like lip lines and wrinkles, so you can toast to younger-looking lips with every kiss. I don’t wear red lipstick, but do use red lipstick under my eyes (pinterest) on day’s I have dark circles. And since this is anti-aging, that sounds like a win-win. Lol!

      5. Formula X Polish in Chaotic – Sephora. Regular price: $7.42

img_9332

Innovative textures inspired by nature, each Formula X polish offers something unique and unexpected. Each nail polish features a customized brush design that was engineered to complement Formula X’s highly pigmented formulas with precise application. This polish is indeed unique and cool, next time I’ll probably put it on over a light colored polish.

Value

The total value for the items in this month’s box is $77.42. This is a pretty good value and I’m mostly happy with this month’s box. I won’t use the brow brush, but everything else will go to use. I love love the facial cleanser and eyeshadow primer potion, SO much! If you can afford to subscribe and support an independent venture, you won’t be disappointed by HandPicked.

I love beauty product boxes, but I hate how quickly my samples run out. It’s really nice to have a box with ALL full sized samples that you know will last you a long time, it definitely helps me feel like I got my money’s worth. With full sized products, the value actually IS the value, as in I actually HAVE $77 worth of makeup… unlike sample boxes where even though I can give them value based on weight, that doesn’t change the fact that they’re given away for free at department stores. To me, it’s like getting 5 high end products for a fraction of the price, can’t beat it.
