The Goods

  1. Illuminating Primer – Cover FX. Regular price: $6.00

Illuminating Primer from Cover FX preps the face for makeup while it assists in giving the skin a more radiant appearance. Its mineral complex works bounces light off the skin, creating the appearance of a natural-looking, luminous glow. Improve skin tone and give skin a glowing appearance with this multitasking formula. This has Hylasome EG10, a Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, to help moisturize and leave skin hydrated. My #1 respected ingredient in any beauty product is sodium hyaluronate as it is the Rolls Royce of anti-aging… so that alone impressed me. Add the natural glow this gives my skin and makeup-holding abilities… this is the best! I have to buy more…

  1. Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rose Gold – Laura Mercier. Regular price: $7.95

This multitasking eye shadow stick delivers both easy application and high-definition, long-lasting color. Long-wearing, transfer-proof, and crease-resistant, the color glides seamlessly onto lids and blends and layers beautifully with a rich pigment-payoff. With one swipe this applies a pretty, highly pigmented color that looks really pretty on my lids as well as to highlight my brow bone. Check it out!

  1. “REPLICA” By the Fireplace – Maison Margiela. Regular price: $6.95

The ‘REPLICA’ collection’s first feminine and masculine fragrance, this warm fragrance blends notes of smoky woods and grilled chestnuts. The frosted top note contrasts with the warmer heart for a soft, enveloping, and addictive experience. The scent subtly evolves on the skin to offer winter’s hot and cold contrast; outside it is snowing on a frosty, shivery landscape, but inside the flames of a comforting fire crackle with glowing warmth. I don’t wear perfume because it gives me headaches, I had a giggle reading this description, though. These perfume people have quite the imagination…

  1. Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet – Caudalie. Regular price: $10.00

This cult classic gel cream deeply hydrates, soothes, and softens all skin types, even the hypersensitive ones. Powered by Caudalie’s organic grape water and patented grape-seed polyphenols, this superfood-infused cream not only provides deep hydration, but it also protects the skin from free-radicals. This feels nice and smooth on my skin, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. They should make it smell as good as it feels.

  1. Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Pin Up Pink – Sephora. Regular price: $7.00

Ultra Shine Lip Gel transforms lips with a gel-effect formula for a light-reflecting, plumped shine. Its ultra-light, sensorial texture is also hydrating. The light-reflecting plumped shine is inspired by gel nail polishes. The color is very subtle (I have a lot on in my picture AND it’s on top of pink lipstick). This gloss looks and feels pretty good, my hair kept getting stuck on it, though. Haha.

  1. Gravitymud Firming Treatment – GlamGlow. Regular price: $24.00

The GRAVITYMUD™ Firming Treatment is an innovative face mask that changes color from white to a brilliant chrome. This mask peels off the skin to visibly tighten and lift for a youthful-looking complexion. The skin’s contours are given a defined and radiant look. This makes you look like a sci-fi alien from the future, which I thought was badass! It peels off in practically one piece (without applying much at all, either), and left my skin feeling super soft! I love it, I love every GlamGlow product I’ve ever tried, come to think of it.

The value of the products in this month’s box is around $62.00! I even used the prices for the samples I received, not the full sized products, so this is the true value and I’d say it’s a steal! The box is only $10.00/month, so 6x the value is about as good as it gets. The only product I really won’t use is the fragrance, and it sucks every box comes with a fragrance considering I don’t wear perfume lol. But I did love the other samples! The primer is the best primer I’ve ever tried and the face mask is amazing. Not sure why this box gets such a bad rep… I am happy with mine.

There is usually a waiting list for this box, so you can sign up for the waiting list here. I was on it for two weeks before I got my email, which was not long to wait at all.
