The Goods

  1. Lightly Salted Popcorn

img_8764

This popcorn worked just like other microwave popcorn from the stores, just unfold the bag and microwave it for ~2 minutes. It puffed up in to a normal, large bag of popcorn and was plenty for me and my boyfriend to share. We are used to “Movie Theatre Butter” popcorn, but thought it tasted pretty good. This is not something I marked as “like” or “love” on my profile, it was just a random addition.

  1. New York Everything Bagel

img_8763

This snack is made with cheese flavored cashews, poppy seed onion sticks and roasted pumpkin seeds. Once again, I had not marked this as “like” or “love” on my profile, it was just random. I’ve liked or loved every single sweet snack on their site, so I’m not sure why they keep throwing in stuff they’d know I wasn’t interested in if anyone even glanced at my preferences. But that’s why I’m not subscribed to Graze (I only got this box because I was offered a one time promo). Needless to say, I did not enjoy these.

  1. Banana Cream Pie

img_8762

This is made with chewy banana coins, pecan nuts, yogurt coated raisins and sunflower seeds. This used to actually taste like banana cream pie… when it had bananas and marshmallows. It seems they have changed the recipe. What do raisins and sunflower seeds have to do with banana cream pie?? Come on, guys.

  1. Baobab and Raspberry Clusters

img_8760

Crunchy clusters of baobab & raspberry coated coconut, mixed with apple pieces and pure pumpkin seeds. This is a pretty tasty snack. I don’t know what baobab is, and once AGAIN I had not selected this snack, but I’m glad I got to try it. It’s always fun to try something you’ve never had and end up enjoying it.

  1. Chocolate Pretzels

img_8759

This is chocolate hazelnut dip and lightly salted pretzel sticks. I love all the Graze dippers, they never disappoint! This tastes like pretzel sticks and Nutella, which is a favorite snack of mine anyways. If my entire box was just 8 of these, I wouldn’t be mad. Haha! An added bonus is that this snack is only 140 calories.

  1. Sweet Mustard Ranch

img_8758

This snack is made with sour cream and onion cashews, mustard breadsticks and poppyseed pretzels. Yet ANOTHER snack I did not request, wow! If I do have a snack, it is going to be sweet. Despite the name this is not my idea of a sweet snack. Even though this is not something I would eat, it does have rave reviews on the Graze website. So if you like salty snacks you’d probably enjoy this.

  1. Cranberry Hazelnut Toasts

img_8757

“These decadent twice-baked toasts are packed with sweet juicy cranberries, roasted hazelnuts, black quinoa and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt, giving them a satisfyingly crunchy and chewy texture. Paired with the rich cocoa dip, and this might be the most sophisticated snack we’ve created yet.” I absolutely LOVED this snack! The toasts were so crispy and flavorful, and paired Perfectly with the hazelnut spread. It was a party in my mouth. Yum!

  1. Original Protein Flapjack

img_8756

Their classic rustic rolled oat flapjack, upgraded with flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and soy protein crispies. I like this snack, it’s not too sweet, has a soft texture with crispiness throughout, and they’re filling. These are perfect to eat before a workout, they’re healthy, filling, and packed with protein. Oh, and of course, delicious!

Value

This review is for the regular Graze snack box, which has 8 snacks for $11.99. I think that’s a pretty fair price for $1.50 a snack. They also have $25 sharing boxes that have 5 bags of snacks, about 20 servings. In the past, my boxes have consisted mostly of snacks I had marked as “like” or “love” on the website, which is great. Unfortunately this box consisted mostly of snacks that I had not expressed interest in. The options for each snack are “trash”, “try”, “like”, and “love”, I think if I would have taken the time to “trash” all the snacks I was not interested in, instead of just “liking” and “loving” the snacks I was interested in, maybe my box would have been more tailored to my liking. So it’s not entirely Graze’s fault that this box was not to my liking.
