The Goods

  1. Retinol Spa Treatment Mask – Global Beauty Care. Regular price: $7.50

image

The main ingredient of this mask, retinol, reduces expression lines and wrinkles while boosting cell renewal. This mask is face-shaped and is applied by pressing it against the skin and leaving it on for 20 minutes. When the 20 minutes is up, throw away the mask and massage the remaining serum into your skin. These masks are in practically all the beauty boxes I’m subscribed too and it’s funny because before the boxes I’d never even heard of these. I love how they make my face feel, though, so keep em’ coming!

  1. Spa Day Hair Ties – DID. Hair. Regular price: $6.50

image

These hair ties are soft, so they leave your hair creaseless and dent free. They’re so much cuter than the regular hair ties I’m used to, and the most gentle on my hair of any I’ve tried! The best part is, they are so cute that if I keep them on my wrist when I’m not using them, they just look like cute bracelets! I’m so happy now that I have these, I’m never using normal hair ties again!

  1. Olive Natural Beauty Elixir – Olive Natural Beauty. Regular price: $18.95

This all-natural, essential oil fix can be used for everything – it’s like a daily vitamin for your skin. This botanical blend regenerates circulation, helps maintain firmness and elasticity in the skin, promotes cell-turnover for a glowing complexion, evens tone, and delivers antioxidants deep within the skin’s layers to prevent aging. Infused with organic compounds, this elixir is a re-balancing act that will bring your skin to its utmost healthy and ideal state. Smooth it on after cleansing or add a few drops to your favorite moisturizer. Ever since reading this article, about a 113 year old man that says using olive oil kept his skin looking young , I have not underestimated the power of olive oil! I will definitely add this to my anti-aging arsenal!

  1. Hot Oil Therapy Treatment – VO5. Regular price: $2.59

image

Detox dry, damaged and over-processed hair in just a minute! Place unopened tube in hot water to gently heat, then open and massage warmed oil into wet hair and scalp, leave for 60 seconds, and shampoo as normal for smoothness and shine.  This does make a huge, salon-quality difference in my hair from just the one use! Just make sure you rinse your hair REALLY well… you know how oil is.

  1. Facial Exfoliating Brush – Nika. Regular price: $17.00

imageimage

You don’t have to buy that expensive exfoliating brush from the department store to achieve beautiful skin! For a gentle daily exfoliation, use this densely-packed luxurious mini brush with your favorite face wash in a circular motion over your face and neck. Luxurious is a PERFECT word to describe how this brush feels… it is so soft and gentle, and it feels AmAzing against my skin! I really feel like I’ve stepped up my routine game with this.

Value

The total value or the items in this months box is $52.54. Beauty Box 5 is $12.00 per month, so this box is a great value! This box is nice because it combines expensive, high end samples with affordable drug store beauty products that work great as well. So where with some other boxes the samples are great but nothing I could afford to buy on my own, this box features great AND affordable brands.

Receive a free bonus Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in your first box! ($24 value) when you sign up for your first box using this link!
