The Goods

1. Flip Flop Rope Toy – Bow Wow Pet. Regular price: $13.99

image

One of these is originally $13.99, but with this deal on Groupon, you can get three for the price of one. This toy is made of durable material and is great for tugging and fetching. Chewing this toy promotes dental hygiene as well. Kona doesn’t like rope toys, so I will give this to a friend with a dog that does like rope toys.

2.Squeaky Ball Toy – Petlou Dog Toys. Regular price:$7.50

image

The squeaker and soft material make this dog ball great for indoor or outdoor play. Dogs love to play catch with plush ball toys. Petlou dog toys are made with thick material and double stitched to make them a durable plush dog toy. Petlou dog toys are soft and cozy to sleep with but durable enough for fun play. Made with a durable fleece material.

Kona loved this ball so much! The squeaker is really loud and gets him really excited so we’ve been having a lot of fun playing with this ball.

 3. Chilly Bone – Multipet. Regular price: $5.99

image

This dog toy will keep your dog cool in the summer. All you have to do is wet it, freeze it, and give it to your pup to enjoy! This bone promotes good dental health as well. Kona is indifferent about this toy, he doesn’t hate it but doesn’t love it either. I never keep him outside in the summer and my house is freezing at all times inside, so it is not really necessary for me to use special toys to keep him cool or anything.

4. Sweet Potato Carrot Flavored Fro-Yo To Go – The Bear & The Rat. Regular price: $8.65

image

“The Bear & The Rat’s freeze-dried yogurt for dogs (some call it “astronaut ice cream for dogs”) can be an out-of-this-world experience. We start with real, probiotic yogurt, beta-carotene rich carrots and sweet potatoes that have been selected in partnership with a holistic veterinarian to optimize your dog’s daily nutrition needs. We also have a delicious and surprisingly healthful bacon flavor that does love to eat up. Our clean, human-grade ingredients are sourced in the U.S.A. We produce our freeze-dried yogurt for dog products in organic facilities where yogurt products are produced for humans in Chicago, Illinois”

These treats have no wheat, corn, soy, gluten, or added sugars. Kona really liked these, he was begging for more!

  5. Chillout Soft and Chewy Dog Treats – Isle of Dogs. Regular price: $5.99

image

These soft and chewy Chillout treats feature lemon balm extract and lavender. They are perfect for changes in daily routines and separation anxiety, or even to support easing tensions caused by thunderstorms or fireworks. Plus, they are wheat gluten free.

Kona gets horrible separation anxiety when I go to work. I’ve never heard of these before now, but I am really excited about them! The idea of calming treats is genius, Kona gets nervous when I’m not home, when there is fireworks, when it’s thundering… all of the above. So these treats are going to be a great help and I’ll definitely keep buying them when I run out.

Value

The value of the items in this months box is about $42.00. Pet Gift Box is $28.99/month for a month-to-month subscription, all the way down to $18.99/month for an annual subscription! This box is a good value as it is (month to month) but a huge value if paying yearly. I’ve been happy with the contents of the boxes as well, in the beginning they were toy-heavy and since Kona has so many toys I would get discouraged, but the past few boxes have been pretty even with toys and treats. Kona’s favorite part of the boxes is the treats lol so I’m happy I see more of that in these last few boxes.
